The Orioles have signed 35-year old lefty reliever Yoshihori Doi to a minor league deal. Doi didn’t pitch at all last year due to a knee injury. He has pitched four years in Japan working in 63 games (22 starts) in which he is 7-13 with a 5.32 ERA and a 1.47 WHIP. Doi will get a shot to make the Orioles’ bullpen this spring, but he has to be considered a pretty big long shot.
